Green is our dream. Not for nothing are we called VillaVerde. From natural cosmetics from South Tyrol, to regional ingredients up to laundry and cleaning - when it comes to the environment, our decisions are obvious. For us it is important to have the essentials, instead of having too much of everything.
Outsourcing? Not really our thing. We want to avoid unnecessary transport routes and wash our laundry directly at VillaVerde. That way we can decide for ourselves which products to use and how to wash.
We have switched completely to environmentally friendly cleaning with micro dry steam MEDICLEANTEC, which protect our environment as well as the health of our staff and guests. At the same time, we benefit from a 90% saving of water.
From the homemade treats at the breakfast buffet to our cake and gateaux creations in the afternoon and the coffee beans in the coffee house - we stay true to our region wherever we can when selecting ingredients and use organic quality products. Homemade, fresh and natural - that's what we value.
In every apartment, Tencel duvets ensure a natural sleeping climate. Tencel is a completely biodegradable lyocel fibre made from the raw material wood, which comes from responsible forestry.
Bio-certified cosmetic products made from local herbs (Kräuterschlössl) in refillable PET bottles are available in your apartment. We consciously avoid using from any unnecessary plastic-packaged amenities. You will only find certified organic and natural cosmetics from Pharmos Natur in our spa area.
We do not provide disposable slippers and ask our guests to bring their own. If necessary, some can be purchased on site. We will double the corresponding amount and donate the proceeds to a project close to our hearts.
We use the power of the sun and rely on innovative heat recovery systems. That means that not only our guests can recharge their batteries at VillaVerde, our garage has a charging station for e-cars and e-bikes.
Our pool is chlorine-free and purified by a salt water treatment. In the natural bathing pond, plants such as reeds and water lilies ensure the ecological balance. So don't be surprised if some dragonflies cross your path.
The sea of flowers around VillaVerde is an ideal habitat for butterflies, bumblebees and other insects from the spring through to autumn. Especially for bees, which play an indispensable role in our ecosystem. That is why, in addition to our hotel guests, we have also been hosting a bee colony since May 2021.
